Though this little thing is not for this season, but it’s very beautiful and attractive. There are luxury summer sandals in front of us, created by designers of the fashion house of Versace, combining the ancient style and modernity all in once. Should we have a closer look at these shoes?

The palette of materials from which the sandals are made, is very light and airy: the silvery skin with white nylon inserts, plus a nice shade of natural wood. An unusual cut wedges sandals are made from tree, “cut off” the back of the wedges processed by the same metallic leather.

The jumpers, made from the skin color of bright silver, round the rise, heel and toes. The widest bridge is framed with inset nylon, adorned with the famous “ancient” ornament of Versace. Buckle is on the small buckle trim located above the heel. All just small accents of the brand.

Let us now take a closer look at shoes from the last defile of Versace. In the summer collection you can see boots, shoes and sandals of most tender spring colors.

One of the main trends of next season is high heel and massive platform. This collection from Versace is full of shoes and ankle boots with futuristic platform. The geometric design creates a false impression – at first glance, the block in these models are hanging in the air, not in contact with the detail of the platform.

And another direction, which we have to mention is the compound in a model of different materials. This fashion house could combine contrasting python skin and soft suede.

Summer boots from Versace are also worth noting. They have very original design. In fact, they are usual sandals, supplemented tops of textiles. But they look very effective thanks to the open lift.

Complex textures

Texture is the major trend of the season. Here the leaders are the shoes made of reptile leather, not necessarily natural. These kinds of shoes are made by Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Versace.

Other trends are sophisticated embroideries and appliqués. Giambattista Valli, Lanvin, Roger Vivier shoes are richly embroidered with beads; Valentino shoes are decorated with silver paste, Sonia Rykiel shoes are covered with aggressive spines. But the most violent “decorations” were shown by the designers of Louis Vuitton.

Unusual colors

Today, artists are not “striking the eyes” with shocking pink or piercing blue – now they carefully work out a new, sophisticated palette. In the collections there are no black or white shoes – but a lot of beige, coffee, coral-red, salmon and mustard shades.

Gold and silver, stubbornly move from season to season, but now these colors have gained heavy “mercurial” shine. Golden shoes from Prada look like minted foil.

Combined materials

Designers continue creating unusual palette, burdening it with different combinations of colors and materials. Illustrations of this trend can be seen from the brands Miu Miu, Fendi, Tory Burch. Chloé models sum smooth skin surface, and Jam Battista Valley combines suede and lace.

By the way, shoes, combining two or three colors and multiple textures, are trends of this season…

Interlocking straps

Designers continue to use different bindings, multiple straps and ties. It looks very “monumental”, particularly, due to the massive platforms and heels.
The most amazing braided shoes are offered by Yves Saint Laurent. – Designers think that fashionable shoes should not hide beautiful women feet.

Figured heels

Though the season is over, designers continue to invent new forms of heels. Especially John Galliano designed for Dior heels in the form of small statuettes.
Another “hit” is broad in the top and highly shrinking down heel in the form of an inverted cone or pyramid, such as Balenciaga and Marni. Marc Jacobs, as usual, offers a highly original solution – in the form of droplets studs, crowning impressive shoe.

Open Front

Shoes with open front do not hand over their positions, but on the contrary are gaining new ones. They can be found in collections of Burberry, Mulberry, Manolo Blahnik.

Stella McCartney makes the ”game of hide and seek” more difficult, using the creation of high sandals a translucent mesh. Thus, fashionable shoes look open and closed simultaneously.

High Platform

Platform is another field of expression for a designer. By Bottega Veneta it is woven, by Gucci, and Tory Burch – wooden. The height, as compared to last summer, is falling – because it is already much higher! – But the platforms are becoming harder and more brutal.
Viktor and Rolf provocateurs have painted platforms with “biker” graffiti, Galliano created quite mad, surreal shoes in the spirit of Salvador Dali.

Flat soles

Variety of shoes and sandals without heels are something practical, convenient, and … sexual. The last epithet is confirmed, particularly the design of pretty sandals from Alexander McQueen, Anna Sue, and Diane von Furstenberg.
