In the new collections many designers have played with the shape of the heels, sometimes creating unexpected models. Such are the sandals from Dior, in which the figure of goddess supports the foot.

Alexander McQueen offers heels in the form of tornadoes, or like a precious stone – amber or crystal, and YSL – in the form of geometric design, reminiscent of the frame building under construction.

No less original is John Galliano: his sandals are a combination of metal and streamlined shape. Such a model can take place on the podium, and at the exhibition of contemporary sculpture.
