Valentino presented his new romantic collection during the recent Fashion Week Haute Couture 2009. A particular variety of shoes has been presented in this collection.

Typically, in the “on-couturier” collections designers pay much attention to clothes, and shoes remain in the shade, 2-3 different models may be presented in one collection. But the outcome of the recent Fashion Week refutes this unspoken rule.

In the latest collection of Valentino Haute Couture 2009 we can see several models of women shoes which are markedly different from each other.

This season designers Valentino Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri expressed a great interest on bows. They decorated classic stud shoes with huge bow, reminiscent of flower shape. Only the most sophisticated ladies can afford such a fan at the back side of shoes. Maybe soon some of the celebrities will appear on the carpet track wearing these shoes.

These suede sandals with a closed-top are a peculiar hybrid of sandals. You could wear this model in every daily life, if not the big black bow at the back side of shoes.

Another direction represented in the collection is boots with feathers.

Valentino presented nice slippers decorated with completely unexpected long feathers.

These sandals with fluffy feathers are somewhat similar to the Amazon accessory or city “vamp”.
