Marc Jacobs is, of course, an all-known talented designer, but sometimes he makes a peculiar “injections” of bad taste without which fashion would not be so interesting and diverse. So the design of these shoes seems to me to be rather questionable and leave a spot for arguments.

These shoes have a very classical form: they are made in traditional “masculine” style with a slight hint of retro style. But the thing to judge with are the color and the texture. The color is bright red, which attracts attention, while in combination with a spectacular foil shine it is even more tasteless.

To reinforce the impression, Jacobs concluded the bright material in the black “frame”, the sole and the heel of shoes, as well as the lace, located on the asymmetric sides of shoes are painted in black which makes them look even more strange. Interestingly, insole you can see the brand prints of the collection Marc by Marc Jacobs – flowers and amusing insects.

When working on this pair, Jacobs managed to create a style, which is at once frivolous and dramatic. In other words, the shoes look  kind of messed up. But it can easily be included in the wardrobe of a bright girl, who is prone to stylistic experiments and refuses boring things in favor of unusual design.
