Shoe fashion is not static and everyone can add something new to the usual themes. Each season, designers are showing something special and exclusive, such as Alexander McQueen shoes with 25-inch heels. And how would you react to opportunities to buy a pair of invisible shoes? That is the new creation of shoe designer from Brazil Andreia Chaves. She was inspired for the creation of these unusual shoes with both chaos and constructive system of her native city of varieties – Sao Paulo. If you look closely, you can see that the so-called “invisible” shoes are ordinary ankle boots made of mirror material.
“I grew up in a chaotic city full of contrasts and a wide variety of things. I found the inspiration to create this shoe, simply in what surrounded me,” – Andreia Chaves explained the appearance of her creations.
The effect of invisibility of ankle boots is created by fraudulent optical effect which looks gorgeous. The mirror surface reflects the surrounding world of shoes and footwear itself thus becomes invisible but still remains eye-catching. Seemingly just as uncomfortable as the crystal Cinderella slipper those ankle boots still look very original. Hardly anyone would have refused the opportunity to try them on and even buying them will not be a mistake.
